Terms of Service
Last updated: 07 August 2026
Welcome to Bervia Jewellery. These terms apply to all purchases made through berviajewellery.co.uk. By placing an order, you agree to them. They don't affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
1. About us
At Bervia Jewellery, we believe jewellery is more than an accessory—it's a timeless expression of style, confidence, and individuality. Our collections are thoughtfully curated to combine modern elegance with everyday wearability, offering beautifully crafted pieces that complement every occasion.
From minimalist designs to statement pieces, we are committed to delivering quality, sophistication, and exceptional value. Whether you're celebrating a milestone, finding the perfect gift, or elevating your personal style, Bervia Jewellery is dedicated to helping you shine with pieces designed to be cherished for years to come.
2. Our products
We sell fashion jewellery made from 316L stainless steel with 18K gold plating, designed to be waterproof, tarnish-resistant and hypoallergenic. Product images are as accurate as we can make them, but colours may vary slightly depending on your screen, and handmade or plated finishes can show minor natural variation. Our jewellery is decorative fashion jewellery, not fine jewellery, and is not suitable for children under [14] years.
3. Placing an order
When you place an order, you'll receive an order confirmation email. This acknowledges your order but does not constitute acceptance — a contract is formed when we send your dispatch confirmation. We may decline or cancel an order before dispatch (for example, where an item is out of stock, a pricing error has occurred, or we suspect fraud); if we do, you'll be refunded in full.
4. Prices and payment
All prices are shown in pounds sterling (£) and include VAT where applicable. Delivery charges are shown at checkout before you pay. We take payment at the time you place your order. If we discover a genuine pricing error on an item you've ordered, we'll contact you to either confirm the order at the correct price or cancel it with a full refund.
5. Delivery
Delivery options, costs and estimated timescales are set out on our Shipping & Delivery page and at checkout. Estimated delivery dates are estimates, not guarantees, though we're required to deliver within 30 days unless we agree otherwise with you. Risk in the items passes to you on delivery; ownership passes when we receive payment in full.
6. Cancellations, returns and refunds
Your right to cancel within 14 days of delivery, and how refunds work, are set out in our Returns & Refunds Policy, which forms part of these terms. Faulty items are covered by your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
7. Product care
Plated jewellery lasts longest when kept away from perfume, cosmetics, chlorine and abrasive surfaces, and stored dry. Damage caused by misuse, accident or normal wear and tear isn't a fault and isn't covered by refund rights, but if you're ever unsure whether an issue is a fault, contact us and we'll take a look.
8. Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Otherwise, we're responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breach of these terms, and our liability for any order is limited to the price you paid for it. We supply products for personal, domestic use only — we're not liable for business losses.
9. Intellectual property
All content on this site — including the Bervia name, logo, product photography and text — belongs to us or our licensors and may not be reproduced without permission.
10. Events beyond our control
We aren't responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control (such as postal strikes or severe weather). If a delay is substantial, you may cancel the affected order for a full refund.
11. General
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute may be brought in the courts of England and Wales (or your local courts if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland).
If you're unhappy with anything, please contact us first at info@berviajewellery.com — we'd genuinely like the chance to put it right. You can also use the EU/UK online dispute resolution routes or seek advice from Citizens Advice.
